    February 15th, 2008 No comments

Vaultus Mobile Technologies, a leader in extending business-critical applications to handheld devices, recently announced that it has closed a $6 million expansion round. The expansion round of financing was lead by Point Judith Capital with participation from existing investors Susquehanna International Group and IDG Ventures.

The funding will enable Vaultus to accelerate its growth in the mobile space, building its sales and partnership channels to extend its leadership position in the burgeoning mobile market. Vaultus has been focused on mobilizing the enterprise since its founding in 2000 and continues to roll out real-world deployments of mobile enterprise applications.

“Mobile is the future of the enterprise application. Over the next few years every major corporation is going to have to be sure that any application they deploy be available anywhere at any time,” said David Martirano, general partner at Point Judith Capital and Vaultus board member. “Vaultus is positioned for strong growth, not only because of the market, but because it has the right technology, the right management team and the strong partnerships that will propel it forward.”

Today Vaultus works with some of the biggest names in the financial services, healthcare and retail sectors. With unrivaled ease of use, Vaultus extends existing CRM, help desk and custom applications to mobile applications that workers want to use. “We are entering one of the biggest opportunities for growth in the mobile market,” said Vaultus CEO David Birnbach. “With the mobile infrastructure now in place, enterprises of all size are starting to recognize the potential benefits of mobilizing their applications and Vaultus is perfectly positioned to become the go-to technology. This injection of capital is what will enable us to bring together the people, partnerships and marketing resources to achieve this goal.”
